Full Training Provided
After you have been awarded a franchise, our comprehensive training and support is designed to provide you with the skills, experience and tools you need to start and operate your franchise successfully.
You will be assigned to a support representative who will take you through the training, supply and start-up process.
Magnetsigns Corporation's 2,500 square foot training centre is located at the head office in Camrose, Alberta and includes classrooms and a fully operational franchise.
Our start-up training includes an intensive three-to-five day hands-on training program. The curriculum has a strong emphasis on the practical aspects of the business such as sales, sign design, graphic production, sign delivery and administration.

Training Program
Sales - Magnetsigns offer many advantages over other forms of advertising. Understanding these advantages and your competitors will simplify the sales process. Training begins with the basics of successful selling, building relationships, moves into analyzing your market, identifying your prospects, understanding your competitors and communicating the Magnetsigns advantage. As your business grows, each sign is a silent sales person for your franchise.
Sign Design - Designing a crisp, clear sign is simplicity itself. Experience in sign design is not necessary, as Magnetsigns design training, manuals and tools will assist you to become proficient in no time.
Graphic Production - The Magnetsigns advantage is due in part to the use of high-fluorescent vinyl magnetic graphics and letters used on a black sign background, creating high-impact advertising. The preparation of letters and graphics requires the cutting of both vinyl magnetic materials and vinyl overlay materials. Training is provided in the use and care of the computerized vinyl cutter to produce graphics and letters, and the care and use of the graphic materials.
Sign Delivery - Our custom-designed trailers can be operated by one person who can move up to ten Magnetsigns at one time. Franchisees are trained in all aspects of safe and efficient moving of signs. The design you create and the placement of the sign work together to communicate your customer's message. A fantastic design can be a failure if the sign is improperly placed. Training will focus on the physical presentation and location of the sign and the importance of ensuring that the sign satisfies local by-laws or sign codes.
Administration - Our simplified accounting approach using QuickBooks accounting software provides even those inexperienced in bookkeeping an easy way to keep accurate records. Training of all necessary bookkeeping is provided.
